so after the 2 special pioneers visited i thought i had given them an earful about the arc and the pedophile problem in their organization surely they would have put me on the do not call list.. oh, no not my luck i get an elder and his lovely little mute wife with infant child in the stroller this morning at 9 am.

don't these people have a job to go to?

I explained my upbringing and all my gay dads and that i would take great offense if one of Sofia friends started to preach to one of my grandchildren about paradise. That my grandchildren will be well educuated on the JW false predictions 1975 and 2000 and the ARC and your kids will get an education too.

He then admitted he has known through work and other place several homosexual couples and they are far more committed to their mates then some of the heterosexual couples.

Then we went into the 15 year old reported on this forum that just got disfellowshiped and then tried to commit suicide. I told him that was outright disgusted they have no right doing any such thing. I am a Certified Adult Volunteer I work with youth from 10 to 20. Yes we do not consider them adults until they are 20. He said it was the parents responsibility not theirs. Plain and simply I just landed all over his butt at this point and told him NO it is your responsibility YOU do not cause this type of damage to a child. I have a doctor's appointment -- keep that child out of the KH until YOU do your parental homework. Have a nice life.

My brother died last night

i found out this morning that my brother died last night, he was also an ex jw, 73 years old and died of heart disease and kidney failure.

it was not totally unexpected, as he had been in poor health, but it's a blow, especially as i just lost another brother two years ago.

there were six of us, now only four.

It is not just the gays, it is also the women and the children. Why can't the JWS treat all humans as their EQUALS?

How about -- Love one another. I think that the Bible does state that somewhere, if I am not mistaken in multiple places.

This religion is so stuck in the dark ages it is pathetic and has so many double standards. R&F are to give up all material pocessions while the GB and their helpers parade around in their expensive suits and gold watches and rings. Live the simple life while they live in luxury in a resort in upstate NY.

And if you think what what comes out of those GB mouths is spiritual well I would recommend you visit a real church.

To answer your question, I was never a JW. If you want to know how I ended up on this forum you can read all about the married "Elder" I dated for 5 years in my intro.

I have never been in a KH, trust me that would be rather explosive. No one tells this Italian lady what she can and cannot do!

Yes, they most definitely could it is the 21st century other religions have done just that. My best girlfriend is the Elder of Finance. Her husband treats her as an equal in their marriage.

there was a time when as a family, we'd host a bbq in our large back garden.

we'd have a small gazebo, tables and chairs.

Never a JW but life can throw us some mighty tuff curve balls. I come from a family of three, mom was a high functioning alcoholic, sister a prescription drug addict and I married a man who was verbally abusive who suffered a stroke when I was pregnant with my second child.

I was always picking up the pieces after my mother, sister and husband while raising two children.

It is one day at a time, I still believe in God so I did a lot of praying. I hit rock bottom financially at one point when he had his stroke and with a toddler and new baby I was forced to triple my business in rapid speed. The best thing is to make a plan, think positive, kick the WT butt, and make the best of the rest of your life prove them wrong.

BTW, my mother and sister will tell anyone and everyone after all I have done for them and all the money I have given them that I am a liar and a thief. This has been said to my face to lawyers and bank managers, I just consider the source. I am bonded, insured and licensed to serve my clients so these same people know these statements are lies.
